Pivot points

Support and resistance levels computed from the previous period's high, low and close.

Formula

P = (High + Low + Close) ÷ 3
Standard: R1 = 2P − Low, S1 = 2P − High, R2 = P + Range, S2 = P − Range
Fibonacci: P ± 0.382, 0.618, 1 × Range
Camarilla: Close ± Range × 1.1 ÷ 12, 6, 4
Woodie: P = (High + Low + 2 × this period's Open) ÷ 4

How to read it

Above P is bullish for the period; R1/S1 are the first levels intraday traders lean on.

How to use it

Intraday support, resistance and profit targets that every trader computes the same way.
