Formula
Aroon up = 100 × (N − bars since the N-bar high) ÷ N Aroon down = 100 × (N − bars since the N-bar low) ÷ N
How to read it
Up above 70 with down below 30 is a strong uptrend; the reverse a downtrend.
How to use it
Spots a new trend early: the line that crosses above 70 first.
